Bell Schedule

  • Students may not arrive before 9:00 a.m., unless they are enrolled in a before school program.
  • Last check out time is 3:30 p.m.
  • If your child must leave early or arrive late, please report to the office to sign them in or out.

Regular Schedule

Breakfast

  • Will be served in the Cafeteria starting at 9 a.m.

First Bell, Class Begins

  • 9:13 a.m.

Tardy Bell

  • 9:15 a.m.

Recess

  • Morning Recess:
    • NM Pre-K: 10:05 a.m. - 10:25 a.m.
    • K-5: 10:45 a.m. - 11:05 a.m.
  • Afternoon Recess:
    • NM Pre-K: 2:00 p.m.  - 2:20 p.m.
    • Kinder - 2nd: 2:45 p.m. - 3:05 p.m.
    • 3rd - 5th: 2:35 p.m. - 2:55 p.m.

Lunch

  • NM Pre-K: 12:40 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.
  • Kinder - 2nd:
    • Recess  12:20 p.m. - 12:35 p.m.
    • Lunch: 12:35 p.m. - 1:05 p.m.
  • 3rd - 5th:
    • Lunch: 12:05 p.m. - 12:35 p.m.
    • Recess: 12:35 p.m. -12:50 p.m.

Dismissal

  • NM Pre-K: 3:30 p.m.
  • K-5: 4:00 p.m.

Preschool Schedules

NM Pre-K

  • 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Half Day Pre-K

  • A.M. Class: 9:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
  • P.M. Class: 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

 

Snow Delays and Cancelations

Decisions regarding delays, cancelations, and early dismissals are subject to change based on changing weather conditions. When APS delays or cancels school, parents will receive a call or e-mail from School Messenger, our parent notification system. Delay, cancelation and early dismissal information is also posted on:

  • APS Website
  • Your school’s website
  • Local Media: Albuquerque Journal, KOB, KRQE, KOAT, KUNM

  • 1/2 Day Pre-K: A.M. & P.M. Classes Canceled
  • First Bell, Class Begins: 11:13 a.m.
