Bell Schedule

  • Students may not arrive before 9:00 a.m., unless they are enrolled in a before school program.
  • Last check out time is 3:30 p.m.
  • If your child must leave early or arrive late, please report to the office to sign them in or out.

Regular Schedule

Breakfast

  • Will be served in the Cafeteria starting at 9 a.m.

First Bell, Class Begins

  • 9:13 a.m.

Tardy Bell

  • 9:15 a.m.

Recess

  • Morning Recess:
    • PreK: 10:30 a.m. - 10:50 a.m.
    • K-5: 10:50 a.m. - 11:10 a.m.
  • Afternoon Recess:
    • Pre-K - 1st: 3:00 p.m.  - 3:20 p.m.
    • 2nd - 3rd: 2:45 p.m. - 3:05 p.m.
    • 4th - 5th: 1:45 p.m. - 2:05 p.m.

Lunch

  • Pre-K - 1st: 12:40 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.
  • 2nd - 5th: 12:10 p.m. - 12:45 p.m.

Dismissal

  • PreK: 3:30 p.m.
  • K-5: 4:00 p.m.

Snow Delays and Cancelations

Decisions regarding delays, cancelations, and early dismissals are subject to change based on changing weather conditions. When APS delays or cancels school, parents will receive a call or e-mail from School Messenger, our parent notification system. Delay, cancelation and early dismissal information is also posted on:

  • Your school’s website
  • Local Media: Albuquerque Journal, KOB, KRQE, KOAT, KUNM
