In Library class, we have been reading new and exciting books:

We've been incorporating reading skills that coincide with classroom English Language Arts standards. We've discussed story sequence, key details, main idea, drawing inferences, asking questions, plus comparing and contrasting stories.
We've learned about doing research projects with library books plus digital resources like Britannica and PebbleGo. We've learned about the topics of animals, biographies and now the Science Fair.
We are celebrating World Read Aloud Day all week this first week of February. We are designing "heart art" with markers and writing about books and genres that we love. The students' hearts are displayed in the library and in the hall entrance to the library. Check it out!
